Detour Doughnuts is a local gourmet doughnut + coffee shop with a monthly rotating menu in West Frisco of DFW.

We are a female owned + Korean-American owned small business that has been open since July 2018.

This business is an ode to creativity, entrepreneurship, personal growth, and community conversations.

What we're looking for:

We are hiring for an overnight full time doughnut baker. The kitchen is responsible for cake doughnuts, yeast-raised dough, and various savory items for our storefront, catering, custom, and wholesale. We are looking for someone that is self-motivated. We value kindness, compassion, intuition, creativity, good work ethic, and diversity.

Quality candidates possess:

• a natural sense of urgency & a desire to work with a team or by themselves
• knowledge of yeast products, including naturally leavened doughs
• the ability to work with a group, as well as solo
• the ability to lift 50 pounds
• flexible availability, including holidays and weekends

Experience working with bread and dough is ideal. Pastry or kitchen education/experience is required (1+ year).

Pay:

Employment Trial Period/Training (minimum 4 weeks)- $10-15/hr

After all BOH training- $20/hr or more with tips

Store hours:

Open everyday.

Start date ASAP
