Enjoy four distinct seasons, easy access to outdoor recreation (walking trails, skiing, beaches), world-class cultural institutions, renowned universities, historic neighborhoods, championship sports teams, and an outstanding food and arts scene.Job DescriptionAs a CRNA at BID Milton, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical, medical, or diagnostic procedures.Key Responsibilities:Pre-Operative: Conduct thorough patient assessments, review medical histories, and develop individualized anesthetic care plans in collaboration with the surgical team.Intra-Operative: Administer general, regional/neuraxial, or monitored anesthesia care; perform airway management; and continuously monitor vital signs and patient stability during procedures.Post-Operative: Manage patient emergence from anesthesia, evaluate recovery, and oversee immediate post-operative care, including pain management.Collaboration: Work harmoniously with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure the highest standard of patient safety and quality.QualificationsEducation: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and school of anesthesia accredited by the AANA.Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the expanded role of a Nurse Anesthetist in Massachusetts.Certification: Maintenance of NBCRNA certification.Skills: Strong analytical judgment, physical ability to manage specialized equipment, and excellent manual dexterityPay Range:$280,000 - $290,000The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations.
