Outpatient Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) - Chemotherapy Required

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)

Job Description: We are seeking an Outpatient Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in chemotherapy administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to adult patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to patients.
• Provide care coordination and patient education related to oncology treatments.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage side effects effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting using Cerner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid Pennsylvania RN license (Single State or Compact)
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in oncology or outpatient infusion settings.
• Current BLS certification.
• Completion of the ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Course (may be obtained prior to start).
