Wintrust Crossroads Sports Complex
Job Description: Under the supervision of the manager on duty, the Bartender is responsible for daily operation of the Wintrust Crossroads Sports Complex bar.
Qualifications: Excellent communication skills and ability to work with the public is essential. Must be at least 21 years of age, BASSETT certified, have a high school diploma and some experience with serving food and bartending.
Pre-requisite
- Cognitive skills to follow both written and verbal directions
- Manual labor; light to moderate lifting
- Ability to work in diverse climate and environment
- Available to work weekends, holidays, flexible start/end times and occasional over time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sports Complex:
- Assists with the ordering and stocking of beverage and snack inventory
- Responsible for the set up and cleanliness of the bar and dining area
- Is able to take food and beverage orders, handle credit card transactions and carry food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to the service area
- Responsible for mixing and serving alcohol beverages to guests, while complying with legal age limits
- Work safely, follow sound practices to help ensure the safety of staff and patrons
