Work Zone Barricade Servicer

Archer Western is currently seeking a Work Zone Barricade Servicer for the GDOT SR316 Bundle 2, in Athens, GA. The Work Zone Barricade Servicer is responsible for various traffic control duties on construction projects; tasked with properly directing live traffic in and around active construction zones for protection and safety of public and employees.

Responsibilities

• Control flow of traffic around construction jobsite
• Oversees proper erection, placement, and removal of traffic control materials
• Maintain traffic control supplies as needed
• May be required to ensure that flag persons are properly trained for duty

Qualifications

• 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred
• Certification in Work Zone Traffic Control may be required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
