Role Description This full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician role is based in the Greater Hartford area. The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation. Daily responsibilities include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, responding to service calls, troubleshooting system issues, and completing detailed service reports. The role includes installing or replacing components, verifying system performance, and adhering to all safety, code, and environmental regulations. The technician will interact directly with customers, explain findings and options in clear terms, and help ensure a positive, professional service experience that reflects the company’s high standards. Qualifications Strong technical ability in Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance for HVAC systems. Proven troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving HVAC performance and safety issues. Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, including clear communication, professionalism, and follow-through. Relevant EPA certification (e.g., EPA 608) and proper handling of refrigerants and environmental compliance. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational HVAC training preferred. Previous experience as an HVAC service technician or in a closely related field. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel to customer sites in Greater Hartford. Ability to work safely in the field, including lifting equipment, working in varied environments, and following safety protocols.
