Full Concentric Brewing Company is a growing craft brewery and taproom located in Portland, CT. Our location is currently the only place that customers are able to purchase our beer or food. It is therefore imperative that we provide a unique, enjoyable and welcoming experience for our customers on a consistent basis. With our growth in mind, an ideal candidate will be able to flex to our ever changing needs, share a passion for craft beer, build upon our loyal customer base / community and inspire greatness in others.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise, guide and direct taproom staff
• Setting the daily schedule for taproom staff
• Moving kegs as needed to manage inventory / change kegs as needed
• Ensure opening and closing the taproom operates smoothly (opening and closing cash drawers, delegating opening and closing cleaning items)
• Maintaining inventory of necessary supplies, beer and merchandise
• Addressing employee, customer or safety concerns in a timely and professional fashion
• Ensuring that the beers on tap are at optimal quality
• Ensuring guests needs are met quickly and efficiently
• Creating and maintaining a pleasant taproom environment
• Planning special and private events and being available during the events to ensure smooth execution
• Continuously improving taproom operations
• Serve as leader to all taproom staff
• All other duties as assigned to ensure flawless execution

Additional Qualifications include:

• Available to work full-time (40+ hrs / week), including nights and weekends
• Prior bar / restaurant management experience
• Knowledge of and passion for craft beer and the brewing industry
• Cicerone Beer Server or similar certification preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Ability to anticipate and proactively address problems in a fast-paced environment
• Outgoing and inviting personality
• Demonstrated leadership and excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work with a diverse set of people
• Basic familiarity with tablet-based POS systems
• Ability to work on a team and contribute in a positive manner
• Ability to lift 55lbs and to move 165lb kegs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Aptitude for and desire to learn the mechanical workings of taproom equipment in order to address problems quickly and efficiently
• Grace under pressure
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma

Pay:

• From $50,000.00 per year

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus Shifts available on occasion.
