RN - Interventional Radiology

Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology Assignment Duration 13-week contract position. Schedule 4x10.0 hour shifts, rotating, floating, with holidays, weekends, and on-call/callback duties as needed. Job Description Join a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department at a level 1 trauma center. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care for both inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the pre-procedural preparation and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation of patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures. Responsibilities Provide pre/post-procedural care for interventional radiology patients. Monitor patients boarding overnight in preparation for or following procedures. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and manage patient needs. Communicate effectively with patients and team members. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of Registered Nursing experience, specifically in interventional radiology. Telemetry experience is required. Must have a valid New York RN license. BLS (American Heart Association) certification is required.
