Job Summary:
An experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse is needed at a healthcare facility located in STATESBORO, Georgia. The position involves providing comprehensive obstetrical care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases. Candidates must have current licensure and bring their license on the first day. The role requires working night shifts with specific call responsibilities, and candidates must meet all listed qualifications to be considered.

Job Details:

• Location: STATESBORO, Georgia
• Schedule: Nights, 6:45 p.m. 7:15 a.m., every other week, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS); current license; 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery; at least 2 prior completed travel assignments in L&D; ability to pass an EKG; Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience; ability to work nights and meet call requirements; must be able to pass an EKG; must bring license to first day.
• Preferred Qualifications: CPN (GE) and Cerner experience preferred.
• Schedule: Nights, 6:45 p.m. 7:15 a.m., every other week, 36+ hours per week.
• Additional Information: Monitor and assist laboring patients, communicate with providers, circulate in operating room for cesarean sections, support newborn resuscitation and postpartum care. The unit has 13 beds, including 8 labor and delivery rooms and 5 triage beds. The RN is accountable for providing care across obstetrical phases, demonstrating critical thinking and leadership, and managing patient priorities in accordance with state and hospital policies.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between departments in the Womens Pavilion.
• Scrub Color: Navy blue.
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2, per AWHONN Staffing Standards.

• Start Date: 07/27/2026.
• Additional Notes: No maximum rest or time off restrictions if weekend call requirements are met. Candidates must work call shifts as specified (two 12-hour shifts every 6 weeks, with at least one on a weekend).
