Basic Qualifications

Current enrollment in a degree-granting college or university studying Mechanical Engineering, EE, Computer Science, Aeronautics, Robotics or related field expected graduation date between December 2023 and August 2024 Experience with hardware/software integration and real time mission-critical systems. Strong Mathematical/Statistical and applied physics fundamentals. Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, C# or Java. Experience applying machine-learning and scale-out approaches to complex problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building complex software/hardware mission-critical systems that have been successfully delivered to customers at scale. Knowledge of engineering practices & patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification and livesite operations. Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch and SLA-driven operations of the project. Experience in communicating with customers, technical, regulatory, business teams and management to collect requirements, describe product features, and technical designs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57.21/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $111.25/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
