Statewide Customer Success Advocate - Alabama

The Customer Success Department at MSI is dedicated to ensuring our customers achieve desired outcomes by building strong relationships, guiding customers, and advocating for their needs to maximize satisfaction and long‑term value. The Statewide Customer Success Advocate role supports Motorola Solutions and top‑tier customers within the Global Services, Video and Software Service Organization. This strategic account management role manages day‑to‑day customer service contracts, ensuring contractual obligations are met, providing expertise in software and mobile video solutions, and driving resources to solve complex issues. Key Responsibilities Develop trusted advisor relationships with customers, stakeholders, and executive sponsors to ensure full business value is achieved. Serve as the voice of the customer, eliciting feedback to drive continuous improvement in onboarding, training, and product development. Educate customers on new product features and capabilities. Partner with internal stakeholders to align account activities with the customer's business case and strategy. Coordinate and participate in regional customer or user group meetings to share best practices and obtain feedback. Monitor customer health, adoption, utilization, sentiment and other metrics across products and verticals throughout the engagement. Negotiate and drive renewals, identify renewal risk and collaborate with internal teams to remediate. Utilize multiple tools to engage customers proactively and reactively. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals related to adoption, retention, and renewals. Identify opportunities for expansion and cross‑sell. Attend and participate in industry events and conferences. Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of direct experience in public safety, emergency management, K12 operations, 911 communications, business continuity, security, or a related field. Experience utilizing, training, or providing SaaS technology solutions that impact public safety. Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others. Passionate about customer success and delivering customer value. Strategically minded self‑starter with multitasking, prioritizing, and scaling abilities. Flexible, adaptable, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Experience working directly with customers and multiple project stakeholders. High degree of ownership over work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Residing within the state of Alabama. Valid driver’s license. Ability to travel up to 75%. Basic knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce), CS analytics platforms, mobile and SaaS applications. Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer(s). Required Skills High school diploma or higher, plus 5 years of direct experience in public safety, emergency management, K12 operations or education, 911 communications, business continuity, or security.
