WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top‑tier clinical team while advancing your career in a fast‑paced acute care environment.

Job Function:

• Shifts: 3x12 Days (36 hours)
• Administer prescribed medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and accurately document all treatments.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report findings per facility policy.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post‑operative expectations.
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical assessments.
• Operate, monitor, and adjust specialized patient‑care equipment; interpret and document. electronic data.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of in the specialty (must be within the last 12 months).2 years of recent experience

• First-time travelers: Accepted, but not preferred.

• Travel Pairs: Strictly not accepted. Candidates must submit and accept offers entirely individually.

• Grooming: Must be clean-shaven for the required unit N95 fit testing.

• Active New Jersey State License or Compact License in hand at the time of submission (pending licenses are not accepted).

• Nursys verification must be dated within 2 weeks of submission.

• ACLS and BLS certifications required in hand at submission. BLS cannot expire within 30 days of the assignment start date.

• COVID-19 Vaccine + Booster required (Medical/Religious exemptions only).

• Flu Vaccine required (Medical/Religious exemptions only).
