Job Description

Atlantic Medical Group has multiple openings for Multi-Specialty, Primary Care and Pulmonology - Full time and Per diem. Please apply if you are interested in below locations:

ALL locations in Monmouth, Ocean, and Union Counties.

The Certified Medical Assistant I (CMA) will perform clinical as well as administrative tasks including, but not limited to:

• Certified Medical Assistant will be managing patient flow, rooming patients
• Also, taking vital signs, medication reconciliation, maintaining/prepping exam rooms, and other duties typical of a CMA in a physician practice.
• Medication administration under the supervision of the clinician.
• EKG or daily Phlebotomy may be necessary depending on specialty

Shift Requirement:

• Hours are Monday – Friday for Specialty Practice or Monday – Friday
• Must be willing to travel between offices, reliable transportation

Qualifications

Required: High School Diploma or GED National Certification CCMA from: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT Preferred:

• Post externship physician practice experience preferred
• Prior EMR physician practice experience a plus
• Experience with EPIC a plus
• Preferred Emergency Department experience
• BLS
• DOT Drug Collector Certification Preferred
• Breath Alcohol Technician Certification Preferred
