Energy & Infrastructure Finance Associate Attorney Direct Counsel is seeking an Energy & Infrastructure Finance Associate Attorney to join the Energy & Infrastructure practice of a prestigious Am Law firm in one of the following offices: Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, Irvine (Orange County), Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, Silicon Valley (Menlo Park), or Washington, D.C. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with 2-9+ years of finance or tax equity transaction experience to join one of the nation's premier Energy & Infrastructure practices. The team advises developers, sponsors, investors, lenders, and other market participants on sophisticated financing transactions supporting renewable energy, infrastructure, and energy transition projects. Responsibilities Represent clients in complex finance and tax equity transactions involving energy and infrastructure projects. Advise developers, sponsors, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders throughout all phases of project financings. Draft, review, and negotiate financing, tax equity, and related transaction documents. Assist with the structuring, execution, and closing of sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing transactions. Conduct legal due diligence and analyze transaction-related risks. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including corporate, tax, project finance, and regulatory attorneys. Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice while managing multiple complex matters. Build strong client relationships and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced practice. Qualifications J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Active membership in the state bar of the office where the attorney will be located. 2-9+ years of law firm experience in finance, tax equity, or related transactional matters. Experience with finance or tax equity transactions is required. Prior experience in the energy and infrastructure sector is preferred but not required. Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Excellent academic credentials. Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple sophisticated transactions simultaneously. Highly motivated with a strong commitment to client service and teamwork. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $225,000-$435,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
