GRAEF is seeking a dynamic, results‑driven business development leader for the transportation sector. The ideal candidate is a highly networked, forward‑thinking professional who can expand our presence and maintain strong client relationships within transportation agencies. Responsibilities Drive strategic transportation initiatives across company offices to advance consistent practices, innovation, and delivery. Cultivate meaningful connections with transportation agencies that build professional relationships and advance organizational goals. Lead projects by setting priorities, developing objectives, and overseeing the financial performance to deliver high‑impact transportation solutions that shape communities. Serve as a key technical transportation resource for multi‑disciplined teams, providing insights and leadership. Stay engaged in the design process while maintaining billable hour responsibilities, ensuring technical expertise directly contributes to project success. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Minimum of 8 years of experience developing and managing a technical market or business development, including selling transportation services to DOTs or architectural and municipal clients. Success in business development planning, including strategic business plans, marketing activities, client development, presentation experience and proposal development. Established DOT relationships strongly preferred. Technical project management experience desired. PE license. Proven leadership experience highly preferred.
