About the Position

Emergency MD

Location: Harlingen, Texas

Practice setting: Emergency medicine

Schedule: Multiple shift options available

• Physician coverage may include 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, and 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Position Overview

• Provide emergency department coverage, evaluating and treating a wide range of acute conditions.
• Collaborate with onsite clinical teams and specialty support as needed.
• Document care in the electronic medical record (Cerner).

Required Qualifications

• Board certified in Emergency Medicine or board eligible as required by the facility.
• Active Texas license.
• Active DEA registered to Texas address.
• ATLS and PALS may be required depending on credentialing requirements.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
