Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Validation in Elwood IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will manage entry points verify credentials monitor access activity and support a secure flow of employees visitors and deliveries. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors drivers and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access control policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel visitors and delivery drivers entering and leaving the logistics and distribution location.
• Maintain visitor contractor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site policies; issue and collect access credentials as assigned.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points loading areas parking areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
