As a fully independent, physician-owned practice focusing on pulmonary, allergy, and sleep medicine, we are looking to recruit a full-time Allergy Physician on a partner track. For the past 50 years, we have been the leading provider of outpatient pulmonary care in central Virginia, operating five locations that offer comprehensive pulmonary function tests (PFTs), allergy testing and immunotherapy, as well as biologic therapy dispensing.

We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Allergy Physician (Allergist-Immunologist) to assess, treat, and manage patients with allergies, immunologic issues, and respiratory conditions. This role involves providing comprehensive care primarily for adult patients.

• Assess, diagnose, and manage allergic and immunologic conditions, including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, eczema, urticaria, and anaphylaxis.
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic evaluations such as skin prick tests, patch tests, spirometry, and pulmonary function assessments.
• Create personalized treatment strategies, including immunotherapy (allergy shots), biologic treatments, and patient education.
• Handle acute allergic reactions and administer emergency care as needed.
• Track patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide education to patients and their families on allergen avoidance, medication usage, and disease management.
• Maintain precise and timely medical records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, pulmonologists, dermatologists, and other specialists.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in allergy and immunology through ongoing medical education.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Allergy and Immunology.
• Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal abilities.
• Dedication to providing patient-centered, high-quality care.
• Proven experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Knowledge of biologic therapies and advanced immunologic treatments.
