Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Intermediate Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Must be outside of 90 mile radius from facility Daly 6B is a Medical Intermediate Care Unit that is half medical-tele and half medical step-down. Unit Size/Beds: 42 beds – 21 medical & 21 Intermediate care Expected Ratios: Intermediate care – 1:3, Medical - 1:6 Cases seen: PNA, COPD exacerbation, DKA, HHS, ETOH withdrawal, GIB, Sepsis, PE, UTI, Respiratory failure Years of Exp Required: 2 years in speciality Certifications required: ACLS, BLS : Floating to other units can happen at times, RN’s work on both sides of the floor (med-tele & IMC), must have experience with trachs, vents, high-flow NC, Cardiac drips, BiPaP, & telemetry Patterns Hiring Job ID 299267-0828.
