Direct Sales Representative (Holophane / AEL / Cyclone)

Work location: This position requires mandatory on‑site presence throughout central to western Pennsylvania, following a hybrid work model. Job Summary The Holophane Sales Representative will drive preference through sales of our products to our strong customer base. The role involves developing and nurturing customer relationships that drive sales in the assigned Pittsburgh and Central PA area, and partnering in the support of projects that span multiple territories. Key Responsibilities Provide sales opportunities by calling on various buying influences in the defined territory, and meet sales goals and quotas set by sales management. Build and cultivate relationships with buying influences that support the value proposition, maximizing sales opportunities and profitability. Utilize company toolsets and external sources to identify potential sales opportunities, and provide support in developing pricing for products and services. Collaborate with other Holophane Sales Representatives across the organization to support sales opportunities that involve multiple territories, National Accounts, and Focused Account personnel. Use ABS tools to increase sales rep effectiveness and improve sales results. Provide post‑sales support, including resolution of product deficiencies and delivery of materials by third‑party partners. Act as a positive and respected representative of the company in industry organizations and activities that promote the growth of Specified Products and Services. Utilize basic Microsoft Office software and other technical programs to analyze business data and report effectively within a matrix organization. Communicate and collaborate effectively within a matrix organization. Minimum Experience Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5 to 7 years of relevant sales experience. Experience working in the electrical, lighting, or controls industry. Travel Requirements Up to 20% travel throughout the geographic territory, including some domestic overnight travel on occasion. The range for this position is $66,500.00 to $143,600.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
