Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Requisition ID: 310228 Location: Bethesda North Hospital – 10500 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242 Job Type: Full‑Time, Days – 7:00am-7:00pm Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000 The Emergency Department at Bethesda North Hospital provides high‑acuity, fast‑paced care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent conditions. As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver direct and indirect holistic care, collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and support patients and families through critical moments. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision‑making, and a commitment to safe, high‑quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing patient and family assessments; document per TriHealth standards. Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care. Provide safe, therapeutic nursing care while maintaining dignity and autonomy. Recognize and respond to emergency and rapidly changing clinical situations. Communicate effectively with providers and the care team. Complete all assigned patient care and documentation within required timeframes. Serve as a resource by sharing clinical knowledge and assisting with staff development. Qualifications Required Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing. BSN required within 5 years of hire. Active Registered Nurse license. BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers. Strong foundation in biological, physical, behavioral, and social nursing sciences. Preferred More than 1 year full‑time or 2 years part‑time acute care experience. Membership in related professional organizations. Specialty certification (e.g., CEN, TNCC).
