Charge Nurse

Overview Position: CCU Charge Nurse Location: Lewiston, Maine Department: Coronary Care Unit Shifts Available: Days and Nights Pay: up to $1,491.84 –$2,067.48 gross pay per week; equivalent to $41.44 – $57.43 per hour. Assignment Length: 12 weeks Benefits Paid Weekly Additional $3/hour differential is paid on top of the base rate. Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety. Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience. Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff. Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios. Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns. Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments. Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management. Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels. Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift. Qualifications Current and valid state RN Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain Previous one year of supervisory experience, in acute care hospital, CCU setting required, Minimum of one year staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; Critical Care setting required Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain Pay Transparency Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $41.44 to $57.43. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
