For us, purpose and people have always come before profit.Due to growth, we are seeking a Mortgage Loan Closer II.The Closer at Movement Mortgage prepares and sends closing instructions within twenty-four hours of being assigned a closing file. The Closer is required to confirm the loan will close and be sellable to the Company’s investors.Performance ObjectivesPrepares and sends closing instructions within twenty-four (24) hours of being assigned the closing fileConfirms all underwriting closing and funding conditions will be cleared prior to closing.Verifies cash to/from closing is clear on specific loan programReviews and approves the final CD settlement statement per specific loan programsVerifies the loan meets/clears both state and federal compliance prior to the release of the closing package.Examines final closing documents to confirm they are in compliance with loan product typeRequests wire to be released on loan fileUploads and labels final CD statement along with closing instructionsProvides excellent customer service to internal and external clientsEssential Skills and ExperienceHigh school diploma requiredAbility to maintain the highest level of confidentialityProficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong organizational skills, team player, excellent communication skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks3-5+ years of mortgage closing experienceExperience with Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loansKnowledge of TRID, RESPA, TILA, and state-specific closing requirementsAbility to balance CDs and coordinate with title companies independentlyExperience managing a high-volume pipeline and meeting tight closing deadlinesSound like a good fit?
