Job Profile:

• Are you passionate about assisting patients and giving back to your community through medical care?

What You Get to Do:

• Build relationship with the provider to anticipate their needs and save time.
• Open the lab for your team, prepare rooms for patients, print out the schedule and huddle with providers in the morning.
• Take patients to the treatment room, get their vitals and reason for the appointment.
• Perform blood draws, injections, and other lab tests.
• Prepare rooms for procedures.
• Process prior authorizations, medial assistant orders, scheduling patients, lab results, medication refills, and stock patient rooms.
• At the end of the day, you will close the pod labs, sterilize the rooms and instruments, and prepare for the next day.
• You get to serve your community – you are here for the patients, and they are very grateful.

What We Need for this Job:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program with over 100 hours of hands-on externship experience.
  
  • Two (2+) years recent experience a Medical Assistant in lieu of school
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with patients. Always be respectful.
• Strong communication skills – proactively ask for help, etc.
• Must be reliable and punctual.

Compensation : $22.66 - $28.70/hour for a Certified Medical Assistant. $22.05 - $27.93 for an uncertified Medical Assistant. For an uncertified/no diploma Medical Assistant: Slightly below certified range. The posted range represents the full salary range for this position. Starting pay is based on factors such as directly related experience, education, licensure and/or certification, and internal equity.
