Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to understand their mental health challenges and establish treatment goals specific to their needs.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions across various age groups, effectively addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention when needed, ensuring clients' safety and stability during moments of distress.

• Maintain detailed and confidential clinical records including assessments, treatment notes, and progress reports, strictly adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Uphold ethical guidelines and state licensure requirements in all aspects of counseling practice, emphasizing confidentiality and client consent.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients at Hillsdale Behavioral Health Center range from children to older adults, each with distinct mental health needs. You will be working with individuals experiencing a variety of emotional struggles including but not limited to anxiety disorders, major depressive disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and adjustment difficulties. Your empathetic and skilled approach in treating these varied presentations will be crucial in guiding clients towards healthier coping strategies and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is required.

• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in outpatient therapy or a similar counseling role.

• Proven clinical competence in delivering outpatient therapy services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
