Cardiac Stress Technician (Paramedic)

Job Details Location: Novi Hub, Novi, MI 48375 Position Type: Part Time Salary: $27.00 - $30.00 hourly Shift: Day; schedule 1-2 days per week within Monday–Friday weekdays Responsibilities Prepare patients for cardiac stress testing procedures Assess vital signs Establish IV access using aseptic technique Set up and monitor patients during treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing, including 12‑lead ECG and symptom monitoring Prepare pharmacologic stress agents, perform dose calculations and administer them Ensure patient safety and provide high‑quality testing Accurately document patient test results and medical history in the online PACS system (additional administrative documentation may be required) Initiate BLS and ACLS algorithms to manage patient symptoms in emergencies, under physician supervision Demonstrate strong commitment to consistent, excellent customer service and patient care Travel to client sites as scheduled, driving company van and following radiation safety and DOT regulations for transporting equipment, supplies, radioactive material, and staff (training provided) Perform additional assigned responsibilities Minimum Qualifications Active Paramedic License or Licensed Practical Nurse License Completion of an accredited emergency care, paramedicine, or nursing program Active BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 1 year experience with 12‑lead ECG placement and rhythm interpretation, and IV insertion Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment as a team Ability to assist patients on and off the stretcher Valid driver’s license Working Conditions Work performed at outpatient imaging centers, hospitals, clinics, and/or physician offices with moderate to high patient volume. Requires travel in all weather conditions in company van. Physical Demands Ability to sit for long periods Walking, stooping, turning, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
