Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $12 - $12 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Fry Cook:

• Prepare and cook french fries, chicken, seafood, and other fried menu items

• Operate fryers, grills, and other commercial kitchen equipment safely

• Prepare sandwiches, sides, and other menu items according to established recipes

• Make milkshakes and other beverages using proper ingredients and portion sizes

• Review customer orders and ensure food is prepared accurately and promptly

• Monitor cooking times and food temperatures to maintain quality and food safety

• Restock ingredients, condiments, cups, and other supplies throughout the shift

• Clean fryers, milkshake equipment, food preparation surfaces, and kitchen areas

• Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment as needed

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures

• Assist other kitchen and service team members during busy periods

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), Weekends

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Previous restaurant, food service, or fry cook experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to safely operate fryers and other kitchen equipment

• Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and customer orders

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work near hot cooking equipment

• Ability to lift and carry supplies and food products as required

• Strong attention to cleanliness, food quality, and customer service

• Food service experience
