Moonlight Mental Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote position focused on school-based mental health support. You will play a crucial role in the early intervention process, working with infants and toddlers experiencing disabilities or delays, and contributing to their growth and development through individualized care.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to carry out your responsibilities flexibly while collaborating with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams across Bakersfield, California. Our team thrives on effective communication and collaboration, leveraging technology to ensure that every child and family receives the support they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays.
  • Actively engage in the development and execution of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to the unique needs of each child.
  • Monitor and document progress in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams, adapting strategies as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide tailored support and resources to families to enhance child development and engagement.
  • Adhere to all Federal and State regulations governing early intervention services, ensuring compliance and high-quality service delivery.
  • Establish strong, trusting relationships with children and families, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for learning and growth.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment strategies based on evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Principles, ensuring that interventions are relevant and effective.
  • Champion the coaching model and natural environment teaching approaches, empowering families to be active participants in the child’s development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with infants and toddlers up to three years old, focusing on those experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. This role emphasizes collaboration with family members, educators, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic support that enhances each child’s developmental trajectory and overall well-being.

Qualifications

  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Valid LCSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver's license to facilitate home visits and community engagement.
  • Minimum of one year of professional experience in early intervention services with children.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices that foster inclusive educational experiences.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with an ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Bilingual capabilities are advantageous and can enhance our service delivery to diverse families.
  • Experience in working within educational settings, particularly in collaborative team environments focusing on child development and mental health.

Compensation and Benefits
