Responsibilities:

• Performing full-service grooming for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and coat types, including bathing, brushing, breed-standard and client-requested cuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning
• Consulting with clients before and after appointments to understand their dog's needs and explain your recommendations
• Identifying and reporting any skin, coat, or health concerns noticed during grooming
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe grooming station and equipment
• Mentoring and guiding Grooming Assistants as needed

Qualifications:

Professional grooming experience is required for this role. Certification (such as IPG or NDGAA) or completion of a grooming school program is a plus but not required if you have solid hands-on experience.

You should be comfortable grooming a wide variety of breeds and temperaments, working efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards, and building rapport with clients and their dogs.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on role. You'll be on your feet, lifting and handling dogs of varying sizes and temperaments throughout your shift.
