About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: In-state license required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in an operating room setting - Experience in Neuro and Ortho, General, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Podiatry surgical procedures - Ability to scrub procedures Description: The registered nurse will work in the operating room with a patient ratio of 1:1. Experience in various surgical specialties is essential, excluding transplant procedures. The facility is equipped with 13 operating rooms and utilizes the DaVinci Xi Surgical System. The nurse will participate in weekend shifts and be part of an on-call rotation with the team. All staff members will adhere to protocols for infection control, fire safety, and specimen handling. Strong communication and teamwork skills are required to work alongside an interdisciplinary support team. All candidates must comply with additional unit requirements as specified in the job description. The role demands flexibility, as the nurse will float within the hospital when necessary. Working 2 out of 3 major holidays is mandatory. Candidates are required to have completed a nursing program accredited by a recognized agency. Two supervisor references are required upon application. Travel experience is preferred for this position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in patient care and surgical procedures.
