Desired Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license (OT)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development and related documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Proficient organization and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' abilities within their school environment
• Develop and carry out individualized therapeutic interventions to support students' educational goals
• Collaborate regularly with educators, aides, and families as part of the educational team
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to goal-setting and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Maryland and school guidelines
• Provide consultation and training for school personnel on strategies to facilitate student participation
