Oracle DBA PositionApex is looking for an Oracle DBA. Candidates must be local to Omaha/Lincoln Nebraska and work onsite.Responsibilities include:-Installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle software and related products-Applying Oracle patches and updates to keep the database up-to-date and secure-Installing and configuring Oracle client software on Windows servers and workstations-Performing database backups and recovery operations to ensure data availability and integrity-Monitoring database performance and capacity to ensure optimal performance and scalability-Troubleshooting and resolving database issues and errors-Developing and implementing database maintenance security policies and procedures to ensure data confidentiality and integrity-Designing and implementing database maintenance plans, including backup and recovery strategies, database optimization, and performance tuning-Managing database objects, including tables, indexes, and views, to ensure data consistency and availability-Providing technical support to application developers and end-users-Participating in database and system architecture design and planning activities-Documenting database configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures-Developing and delivering training programs to existing team members on database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance-Conducting knowledge transfer sessions with team members to ensure that critical information is shared and retained within the team
