Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg for an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients with various medical diagnoses in a 31-bed unit, ensuring high-quality nursing practices.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Acute Care

• Work Modality: On-site
• Shift Details: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p & 7p-7a)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
• Charting System: EPIC
• Number of Openings: 1

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with unit standards
• Administer medications and titrate Heparin drips
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and pharmacy
• Participate in shift reports and adhere to scheduling preferences
• Float to other units as needed
• Maintain a therapeutic environment for patients

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL RN license
• BLS certification
• Experience in titrating Heparin drips

Preferred:

• 1 year or more of hospital experience
• ACLS certification for Charge RN position
