Field Manager H15C Annual Salary, $74,960.21 + Full State Employee Benefits Job-related travel is EXTENSIVE. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance. Minimum Qualifications- Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor's degree in social work, a behavioral science, counseling or business or public administration and seven years of professional experience in social work or social services administration plus four additional years of experience in a supervisory, managerial or administrative capacity;
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education plus three additional years of experience in a supervisory, managerial or administrative capacity.
- Supervises APS supervisors and staff, overseeing recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities, promote staff well-being, and provide coaching and mentorship to support effective casework practices.
- Ensures the quality and effectiveness of case investigations and service plans, monitoring adherence to APS policies and best practices.
- Review case trends, implement process improvements, and ensure that timely and appropriate interventions are provided for vulnerable adults.
- Collaborate with community partners, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and social service agencies to strengthen service coordination and advocacy efforts.
- Interprets and enforces APS policies and legislative mandates, ensuring the district remains compliant with all applicable regulations while staying informed about policy changes, implement necessary adjustments, and develop corrective action plans when required.
- Involved in data management and reporting, analyzing district performance metrics to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Prepares reports for leadership and stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of APS casework.
- Manage district resources efficiently, advocating for necessary funding, staffing, and support to meet APS demands while ensuring fiscal responsibility.
