We would love for you to become a member of our team! What You’ll Do Collaborate with medical providers and medical assistants in patient care management, organization, and communication. Apply x‑ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups. Perform and analyze patient x‑rays and report results to medical providers. Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of urgent care centers. Assist in patient preparation, rooming, and conducting preliminary physical tests, including vital signs and point‑of‑care testing. Maintain medical records, scan charts to patient files, and conduct courtesy call‑backs for patient follow‑up. Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment. Maintain quality assurance/quality control logs, troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets. Collaborate with ordering/prescribing providers to determine best procedures or views for accurate diagnoses and treatment. Explain procedures to patients, ensure their comfort and safety, and answer their questions. Accurately position patients and equipment for optimal imaging results. Select proper ionizing radiation factors and adjust radiographic controls to capture clear, high‑quality diagnostic images. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of X‑ray equipment and manage necessary supplies. Implement radiation safety protocols and adhere to ALARA principles to minimize exposure. Maintain accurate patient records and log completed procedures in electronic systems or logbooks. Verify image quality and send images to radiologists for interpretation. Job Requirements High school diploma required; graduate of an approved radiologic technologist program required. Experience in a clinical setting preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire, obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA). American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required at the time of hire. State licensure as a radiologic technologist required at the time of hire (if applicable by state law). Essential Functions Perform x‑ray services under the direction of the clinical provider, ensuring correct patient positioning, safety, and exposure management. Coordinate patient flow, prepare patients for examination, conduct preliminary physical tests and point‑of‑care testing, and manage documentation. Maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and comply with radiation safety protocols and quality assurance requirements.
