As a valued contract professional, you’ll provide essential psychological services that support student achievement and foster positive learning environments. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8am-3pm, allowing you to maintain excellent work-life balance while connecting with students and staff across multiple campuses.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for TN, or eligibility to obtain
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Previous experience working with K-12th grade students, preferably in school settings
• Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
• Analyze assessment data and develop individualized recommendations for learning strategies and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to design effective support and intervention plans
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, and student support team meetings throughout the county
• Assist in crisis prevention and response, offering expertise in behavioral and social-emotional interventions
• Promote positive mental health by delivering workshops, consultations, or direct services as needed
