About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab License: Current state RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in the Cath Lab is required. Experience with IABP and IVUS is needed. Description: This position involves working in a cardiac catheterization lab. The RN will be responsible for providing care to adult patients undergoing cardiac procedures. The role includes the management of patients during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases. RN will work as part of a 3-man team consisting of 2 RNs and 1 technician. The position requires rotating weekends, holidays, and call coverage responsibility. The average number of cases per day ranges from 2 to 9. Familiarity with Acist injectors is preferred but not mandatory. Scrubs will be provided, with RNs wearing navy blue. Participation in emergency procedures and collaboration with the cardiology team is expected. Charting will be completed using an electronic medical record system. Additional responsibilities may include floating to non-invasive positions as needed.
