HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Emergency Room (ER) Location: Rochester, New York Contract: 13 Weeks Start Date: November 2, 2026 Shift: Days, 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 11:00 AM–11:00 PM; alternating) Hours: 36 hours per week Requirements: Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience; strong ER experience required. Active New York RN license in hand. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required. Epic experience is mandatory. Must live at least 75 miles from the work location. First-time travelers accepted. Must be proficient in phlebotomy and starting/maintaining IVs. Minimal time-off requests; maximum 10 days of RTO. Every other weekend required. Floating may be required based on census. Required Clinical Skills: Combined adult and pediatric emergency care. Cardiac monitoring, ECGs, and dysrhythmia management. Blood product administration, central line care, and IV vasopressors. Continuous IV sedation and paralytics, emergency medications, and procedural sedation monitoring. Stroke/CVA care, isolation precautions, and management of patients with multisystem dysfunction. Care for psychiatric holds, suicidal patients, and drug overdoses. Additional Details: Patient ratio: approximately 1:5. High-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department. Scrub colors: Navy and white.
