Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechniciansCardinal Staffing Services is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a well-established manufacturing facility in Maumee, OH. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep the plant running by repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment. Every day is a little different—you'll work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, handle preventive maintenance, and respond to equipment issues when they come up. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in our team members! Our temp-to-hire employees earn $23.00-$34.00 per hour (depending on experience) and are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance. We also offer generous referral bonuses when you bring great people to our team.Shift:Training: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM–2:30 PMSplit-shift hours of 10:00 AM–6:00 PM or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM may be used during training.After training: 2nd Shift | Typically 2:00 PM–10:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PMResponsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to keep operations moving.Complete preventive maintenance on machinery and plant equipment.Work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Replace worn or damaged parts and make equipment adjustments.Read work orders, blueprints, and equipment manuals to complete repairs.Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.Keep maintenance records up to date.Follow safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment.Required Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician:High school diploma or GED.Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience.Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Someone who enjoys hands-on work and solving problems.Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment, including climbing, bending, and standing for long periods.About Cardinal StaffingAt Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
