As outpatient pharmacy technicians, candidates will be responsible for all activities that a pharmacy technician is expected to perform and other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Director of Pharmacy Outpatient Pharmacy Manager./ph3Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent/liliValid Pharmacy Technician license within the State of Illinois/liliRegistered Pharmacy Technician in good standing under the laws of the State of Illinois/li/ulh3Responsibilities Include:/h3ulliEntry of drug orders into computer software McKesson Enterprise/liliDispensing and preparation of medication before pharmacist checks the final product prior to dispensing to patients/liliAnswering telephones at all times/liliDirecting patients to the pharmacist for consultation on drug matters, as well as to physicians, nurses, and/or other health-care personnel as appropriate/liliProviding excellent customer service to all patients answering any questions they may have pertaining to pharmacy services/liliSupervision and final inspection of packaging or manufacturing processes/liliParticipation in Meds to Bed program as directed by Outpatient Pharmacy Manager/liliAll activities that a technician may perform/li/ulpInsight Employees are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition of employment, subject to accommodation for medical or sincerely held religious beliefs.
