About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Imaging Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 3-5 years in MRI required License: ARRT-MR or ARMRIT Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with GE and Siemens equipment Experience with various patient types, including neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, and cardiac Description: We offer a dynamic and cutting-edge MRI environment with six scanners, featuring a blend of GE and Siemens technology. The role involves providing advanced imaging procedures, including cardiac, functional, neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and specialty exams. Join a team of experienced Technologists and Imaging Assistants who collaborate and support each other in a fast-paced, highly specialized setting. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with occasional weekend on-call rotations. Weekly patient census ranges from 250 to 300, including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients. Patient experience with implantable devices and ventilated patients preferred. Technologists will never work alone, with support available from a Lead Tech or Coordinator and Imaging Assistants. Charting will be conducted using EPIC, McKesson PACS, and other required equipment. Weekend rotation consists of a maximum of every third weekend. On-call responsibilities include Saturday and Sunday night coverage with a 30-minute response time. Holiday expectations will be based on unit needs. Professional scrub color is allowed, with no specific restrictions.
