Job Description:


- Embrace the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of patients in our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit.
- As a Registered Nurse, you will:
- Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during your shift.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria and nursing processes.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families, utilizing resources to ensure proper preparation for discharge.
- Mentor and guide non-RN staff, including LPNs/PCTs and Unit Secretaries, enhancing team collaboration and patient care.

Requirements:


- 2+ years of Inpatient Rehab RN experience - REQUIRED
- Proficiency in GG scoring for patients - REQUIRED
- Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating patience and tact with physicians, patients, and colleagues.
- Ability to work cooperatively in high-stress situations, utilizing independent judgment and healthcare principles.
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Flexibility to float to all units within skill level as needed.
- Must be available for a schedule that includes every 3rd weekend.

Profile Requirements:


- Up-to-date work history
- Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to Inpatient Rehab - REQUIRED
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification - REQUIRED
- Current Ohio/OH or Compact RN License on Nursys - REQUIRED
