About the Role

The Patient Services Representative plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for patients within healthcare settings such as physician offices and hospitals. This position is responsible for managing patient registration and billing processes accurately and efficiently, serving as a vital link between patients and healthcare providers. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to handle sensitive medical information, insurance verification, and billing inquiries while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. By effectively coordinating communication and documentation, the Patient Services Representative helps facilitate timely patient care and supports the financial operations of the healthcare facility. Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in patient registration and billing within a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with medical insurance processes and medical terminology.
• Strong manual dexterity and proficiency in using office equipment including fax machines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience working in a physician office or hospital billing department.
