Job Summary:
The block clerk records the amount of final bids on vehicles running during the auction and ensures buyers sign block tickets.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards all customers and employees
- Record amounts of final bids for vehicles in auction
- Responsible for getting buyers' signatures on block tickets
- Responsible for accuracy in all documents
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be 18 or older
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Able to hear well in loud environments
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires frequent activities such as sitting, walking, observing, and listening.
- The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and moderate noise levels.
Pay: $65.00 per day
Work Hours: Approximately 8:00 am -12:00 pm
