Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A six-week opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide coverage in a mail order pharmacy setting. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, starting November 1 through December 14, located in Largo, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety
- Provide patient counseling regarding medication use
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow efficiency
Qualifications:
- Licensed pharmacist in Maryland
- Experience in retail or mail order pharmacy environments preferred
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX is a plus
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule during the coverage period
