Position Highlights Sign-on bonus Quarterly performance bonus opportunity Four (4) days per week in clinic Full benefits package Generous paid time off Continuing education funds Hospitalist rotation approximately every 6–8 weeks Established clinic and patient base Support from experienced clinical and administrative staff Access to HealthStar's broader network of diagnostic, laboratory, and ancillary services Position Responsibilities The Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan, including: Preventive and wellness care Acute illness and injury management Chronic disease management Medication management Routine health screenings and examinations Coordination of specialty and ancillary care Development of individualized treatment plans Patient and family education Timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record Collaboration with advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the care team Participation in periodic hospitalist coverage approximately every 6–8 weeks Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine Eligible for an unrestricted Arkansas medical license Eligible for DEA registration Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care Ability to work collaboratively within a physician-led organization Why HealthStar?
