Baling Machine Operator - Full Time - GOC

Position starts at $15.50 per hour with annual merit increases and production bonuses. Summary Operates a machine that compresses and binds cloth to facilitate handling by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Truck or carry materials to baling machine. Place materials in compression chamber of baling machine. Operate electric switches to compress material. Wrap precut lengths of wire around bale and tighten by twisting ends. Load and unload salvage and donations from trailers. Work cooperatively with rehabilitation staff to provide guidance to persons served assigned to work area. Report known or suspected security and/or theft problems to the Director, Transportation & Logistics or other member of management. Sweep dock area. Perform other job‑related tasks as assigned by the Director, Transportation & Logistics.
