Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide support in delivering therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in developing and restoring their functional independence in alignment with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Implement therapy interventions in accordance with the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
Document patient progress in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist with patient and family education to enhance understanding and compliance.
Communicate patient status effectively to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Active state COTA license or ability to obtain licensure.
Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
