Inventory Associate

Job Overview As an inventory associate at Advanced Inventory Solutions (AIS), you will work in local grocery stores, gas stations, and retail locations across a large service area. Your role involves counting inventory using handheld scanning equipment and providing accurate, updated reports to underserved regional clients. Key Responsibilities Perform inventory counts at multiple retail locations weekly. Operate handheld scanning equipment accurately. Travel between cities and store locations as scheduled. Attend entry‑level training to become a top counter. Work independently with minimal supervision. Team Culture Our teams consist of individuals who value second chances and are eager to grow. AIS is NOT Looking for People Who … Need to be micromanaged Don’t want to be a part of a team Can’t do early mornings Can’t do regional travel Requirements of an Inventory Associate Must be 18 years or older Able to work on your feet for the entire shift Must be able to stand up consistently for early morning starts (between 3‑6 AM depending on store location) Must have reliable transportation to the morning meeting spot, then travel in company vehicles Flexibility with varying start and end times as well as shift durations Previous experience in Amazon, Walmart, or similar grocery & retail stores is a plus but not required Benefits and Compensation Starting pay of $15 per hour Company provided transportation to and from the work site of $10 per hour Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance starting at $25,000 with option to increase Short‑term disability coverage Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401(k) match program with up to a 4% match Paid time off (accrued based on hours worked) Flexible scheduling available.
