About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 travel contract preferred License: State license required Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHSS Must-Have: Epic experience required Driver's License required Work history/resume required Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date) required License verification required 1 supervisory reference required at the time of submission Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The position may require working during holidays, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. The role involves managing various types of drips, including heparin, cardizem, nitroglycerin, non-DKA insulin, and amiodarone. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of telemetry and medical-surgical nursing principles. The ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate strong communication skills is essential. Emergency response capabilities are necessary, alongside maintaining patient safety and comfort. Candidates must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
